Three old houses, extensively restored, form a U-shape on the hillside around a large courtyard full of flowers overlooking the valley 90m below. The panoramic view over several kilometres includes the Chateau des Milandes 700m away and the Dordogne valley within a kilometre.
The layout allows either for groups wishing to share their activities or for independent parties.
On the one side, the 'Maison de maitre' (Master's house) can accommodate larger groups on the ground floor while eight people can sleep on the 1st floor.
On the 2nd side, against the hill, the 'Maison d'amis' (Friends'house) accommodates 4 people.
On the 3rd side, the 'Maison d'invités' (Guests'house) comprises a cottage for 4 people as well as an independent or inter-connecting studio apartment. Each apartment is independent and fully equipped and therefore allows for individual bookings. Each one includes a fireplace, one bathroom or shower room per bedroom (except for one room), satellite TV and a Wi-Fi network.
The property extends over 4 hectares, with a 120-metre range in levels. It is bordered on the upper edge by the GR64 hiking trail. Secluded in the trees, the swimming-pool and tennis court occupy the lower part of the property.
Closer to the house there are breaks in the trees allowing for views in different directions. A spring is situated 10 metres from the house. The natural exuberance of the site is enormously appealing.
It is recommended that parents keep an eye on young children as the ground is uneven and rocky. However, the immediate surroundings of the house and swimming-pool are safe.
